I thought you would like to meet my new Chooks, two Marrans and two light Sussex. We have had them nearly two weeks and are hoping that they will start laying very soon. The Marrrans lay a dark chocolate egg and the Sussex lay a whitish egg, quite a contrast but both taste equally delicious.
We did think about naming them but after the fox attack last time I am trying not to get too attached. The puppy is not quite sure what to make of them he just stands there and looks and occasionally barks.
And on a final note Happy Birthday to my 6 year old. Hope you have a lovely day, love you loads, Mum and Dad XXXXXXXX.

Its that time of year again!
Its that time of year again when the beach huts come out of hibernation and return to there nesting site for the summer season. As I mentioned last post, ours hasn't quite woken up yet but in the next few weeks it will join its flock down on the front.
We didn't go anywhere this Easter, instead we tidied up in the garden, planted some seeds, and ate lots of chocolate. My soon to be six year old finally learnt to swing himself (hooray) and we took him to a very foggy Ramsgate where he learnt to ride his bike(double hooray). So it has been a very relaxing and enjoyable weekend.

Harvey
Here is the new addition to our family, Harvey, who is a Cocker Spaniel. He is very cute but being only 16 weeks old it is very much like having another baby. He wakes up in the middle of the night to go to the loo and then he wakes up about 5.30 in the morning so we are quite exhausted. He went down the beach yesterday for the first time and they are putting the beach huts up in Stone Bay already! I haven't even thought about putting ours up yet, it still needs a new coat of paint.
